Activity First Aid Course to Continue

Activity First Aid Course to Continue
26 Nov 2014

We have great news in respect of the Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid. Back in September it was announced that the regulatory bodies would not renew the Activity First Aid qualification past the end of 2014.

We can now announce that this decision has been reversed and the Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid qualification has been renewed for a further 12 months, so you can continue offering this great qualification to your Learners.

There is no change to the qualification at all and it will stay live until the end of 2015.

A team has been put together, which First Aid Awards are part of, to develop a new outdoor/wilderness qualification to replace the Activity course. This new qualification will be in place to take over from the Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid towards the end of 2015 and we will update you on its progress as it happens.

If you need any further clarification on any of the above please contact us.

First Aid Awards Ltd are part of a group of Awarding Organisations who are looking to create a new Outdoor First Aid qualification and we will keep you informed on the progress.

First Aid Awards Ltd will be offering attendance certification for any Centre who would like to continue to run activity courses in the interim period. Details to be announced soon.
