Course booking frequently asked questions

These are some of the most frequent questions that we are asked with regards to our courses. If your question is not answered below or you require further details then please feel free to contact us.

You can book your course online by viewing the course description pages and downloading the PDF booking form for the course you would like to take part in and email with your contact details to sales@nucotraining.com. Alternatively you can call our team and book over the phone 03456 444999 during office hours.

Please complete the Supplementary Employer / Company Details form. This is included with the booking forms. We will provide your employer with a 30 day credit invoice (subject to credit checks).

We hold our courses throughout the UK. If our schedule does not list a course near you then please let us know so your preferred location can be considered for future courses.

Any ONE of the following:

  • To have a current or recently expired First Aid at Work qualification or
  • EdExcel First Person on Scene – Intermediate qualification or
  • Combat Medic or Military First Aid qualification or
  • Paramedic, Nurse or Doctor registered through the HCPC, NMC or GMC or
  • RLSS Trainer/Assessor award or
  • Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding, Intervention, Supervision and Rescue QCF or
  • Offshore HSE First Aid certificate

  • Presentation skills

Course joining instructions regarding the venue and pre course work are released 3-4 weeks before the course start date. If you have not received your joining instructions 2 weeks before your course then please contact the office on 03456 444999 or emailing enquiries@nucotraining.com.

Full payment for courses must be received 28 days before the course start date so that pre-course work can be released.

Yes, many of our courses have an element of pre-course work. The amount you will be required to complete will vary depending on the course you enrol on. For more information on pre-course work please email enquiries@nucotraining.com

Yes, If you already hold a professional teaching qualification then please provide us with a copy of your certificate along with your CV. This will need to be handed in to Nuco Training before your course. You will not have to complete this element of the instructor course.

As an approved provider to the Enhanced Learning Credit scheme military personnel can use their lower or higher tier credits against any of our courses that are level 3 or higher. Well, we would like to think that this is just the start of a very long and rewarding relationship for all of us. You will leave the course with a very comprehensive training pack and powerpoint presentation, enabling you to start running your First aid courses immediately!

The benefits of attending our instructor course has been further enhanced with the development of NucoPlus – a totally unique online course management and instructor support area.

Your qualification will last 3 years. After this period you can attend one of our 2-day Update course, which updates that First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work Instructors qualification, plus you willl receive a new up-to-date Tutor Pack
