2-Day First Aid for Mental Health Instructor Requalification Course

This 2-day course is aimed at existing First Aid for Mental Health Instructors who are due to expire and would like to continue to teach the Ofqual and Qualifications Scotland Accreditation regulated national qualifications in First Aid for Mental Health including the Level 2/5 award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health. The instructor course is available either as a classroom-based course or by distance learning – further details on the distance learning option.

The course fee includes access to up-to-date tutor notes, PowerPoint slides and documents for you to continue to deliver and certificate training in First Aid for Mental Health for a further 3 years.

THE MILITARY
Nuco Training Ltd is an Approved Provider to the Military Funding Scheme of Enhanced Learning Credits (ELCs). Our Approved Provider number is 1349. This course will be fundable through the ELCAS scheme. The course code is NT015.

Qualifications you will attain from this course:

Nuco Training Instructor Certificate in First Aid for Mental Health
Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health, or level 6 in Scotland

Qualifications you will be able to teach:

Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health, or Level 4 in Scotland
Level 2 Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health, or Level 5 in Scotland
Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health, or Level 5 in Scotland
Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health, or Level 6 in Scotland

Certification

Instructor and subject certificates will be issued as E-Certificates with the option of receiving printed certificates at an additional cost.

Pre-requisites

All delegates must be an existing Nuco Training registered First Aid for Mental Health Instructor. As this course is a requalification there is an expectation that you should have a good level of subject knowledge
