2-Day First Aid at Work and Defibrillation Instructor Requalification Course

A course specifically written for Nuco supported First Aid at Work and Defibrillation Instructors.

Are your Nuco First Aid at Work and Defibrillator Instructor certificates due for renewal?

If so, this two-day course will renew your qualifications for a further three years. Upon successful completion, you will receive updated First Aid Instructor certificates and the relevant qualifications required to continue delivering first aid training.

Renewing your qualifications provides a cost-effective way to maintain your eligibility to deliver a comprehensive range of qualifications regulated by Ofqual and Qualifications Scotland Accreditation. You will also receive access to the latest training notes and updated PowerPoint presentations, ensuring your course delivery reflects current guidance and best practice.

Your annual monitoring requirement will also be completed as part of the course. The course also provides an excellent opportunity to meet, share experiences and network with other instructors.

Add Level 3 Award in Oxygen Therapy Administration

You can gain or renew your Oxygen Therapy qualification and instructor certification by adding this optional element to Day 1 of the Instructor Update Course.

The additional cost is £75.00 (£62.50 + VAT). Upon successful completion, you will receive:

Level 3 Award in Oxygen Therapy Administration (RQF)
Nuco Training Instructor Certificate

Both certificates are valid for three years.

Add Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid

Due to high demand, you can also gain or renew your Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) by adding this optional element to Day 2 of the course.

Qualified First Aid at Work Instructors are already eligible to deliver the one-day and two-day Paediatric First Aid qualifications. However, obtaining the qualification personally may be particularly beneficial for professionals who work with babies and young children and need to meet the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework.

The additional cost is £75.00 (£62.50 + VAT).

Certification

Instructor and subject certificates will be issued as E-Certificates with the option of receiving printed certificates at an additional cost.

Certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of achievement and for renewal of the subject qualifications and instructor certificate this course can be completed again.

Pre-requisites

All delegates must be existing Nuco registered FAW Instructors.
